Lontano dalle metropoli. Vicino al futuro.
Il 29 luglio abbiamo lanciato il pilot della serie Remote Workers for Remote Villages. È stato un esperimento, una prova generale (guardata da oltre 3000 persone!), ma anche un assaggio di quello che volevamo costruire: uno spazio aperto, leggero e al tempo stesso profondo, per parlare di lavoro da remoto e rigenerazione dei territori.
Perché il futuro del lavoro non sta solo nei grattacieli delle metropoli, ma anche nei borghi, nelle aree interne, nei paesi dove la connessione internet arriva insieme a nuove idee, persone e opportunità.
Ora siamo pronti: parte la serie completa di 10 episodi live, dal 10 settembre al 16 dicembre 2025, in diretta su LinkedIn e Substack, organizzata da ITS Journal, Nomag Media e Smart Working Magazine. Il tutto grazie agli ideatori di questa serie (Matteo Cerri e Carlo Daniele) e a Kinsta che, con il suo supporto, ci ha aiutati a partire.
📅 Il calendario
Tutte le nostre live coinvolgeranno i protagonisti di questo ‘movimento’ e avranno la durata di circa 60 minuti. Ogni settimana anticiperemo i nostri ospiti sui nostri canali social e nelle nostre newsletter.
Alcuni episodi saranno in inglese per permettere anche ai nostri amici expat e digital nomad di essere coinvolti in questo bellissimo percorso.

Far from the Metropolises. Close to the Future.
On July 29 we launched the pilot episode of Remote Workers for Remote Villages.
It was an experiment, a dress rehearsal (watched by more than 3,000 people!), but also a taste of what we wanted to build: an open space, light yet meaningful, to talk about remote work and the regeneration of local communities.
Because the future of work is not only in the skyscrapers of global cities, but also in villages, rural areas, and small towns where a stable internet connection brings new ideas, people, and opportunities.
Now we’re ready: the full series of 10 live episodes (plus some extras) will run from September 10 to December 16, 2025, streaming live on LinkedIn and Substack, organized by ITS Journal, Nomag Media and Smart Working Magazine.
All of this has been made possible thanks to the creators of the series (Matteo Cerri and Carlo Daniele) and to Kinsta, whose support helped us get started.
📅 The Schedule
Each live session will last about 60 minutes and feature people who are shaping this “movement.”
Every week we’ll preview our guests across our social channels and newsletters.
Some episodes will be in English, so that our expat and digital nomad friends can join the conversation as well.
Dates and times may shift slightly depending on our guests’ availability.

Because working remotely doesn’t only mean connecting to the internet. It means connecting to a place, and to the community that gives it life.
Your series looks nice and inspiring. I work remotely and spent some short but very pleasant episodes in Italy (Palermo, Catania, Calabria, Puglia) this year and past year, although I worked longer in other countries. I think a significant advantage of working remotely is the possibility to live with people who represent local culture and are NOT digital nomads. I write some travel stories which are embedded with what inspires me locally (I rarely write about the fact of remote working, rather about things that I experience after work and on weekends). My stories are tagged by country - below are those related to Italy. If this is of any interest, I could gladly contribute to your series.
